If you’re like us, summer is filled to the brim with events! From grad parties to cookouts, summer can be wonderfully hectic. Keep reading to see what our stylists will be wearing to their summer festivities!

In the summer, nothing beats a frock for me. It’s easy and can take you from day to night instantly. I love the ease of this Jenni Kayne option. To give it a bit of edge, I’ll pair it with black accessories, but of course, paired with nude or gold will be tres chic too!
TOP | SHORT | FLAT | BAG | SUNGLASSES
Anyone who knows me is well-versed in my summer go-to look. This summer will be no different; you will catch me in a denim short often. This year, I’m swapping out my cutoffs for a longer, more relaxed pair like these from Agolde. To elevate and modernize this casual look, I’ll pair it with a slingback or ballet flat with texture like mesh or woven leather. Of course, a low-profile sneaker will take you a long way, too!
SHIRT | TANK | SHORT | LOAFER | SUNGLASSES
Summers are usually filled with outdoor festivals, backyard BBQs, and family dinners on a patio at a local restaurant for us. I was really inspired by the effortless style of the Amiri Spring/Summer fashion show this year, and I’m also excited to see the knit polo quickly becoming a summer trend. For my go-to summer look, I found a variation of the knit polo in this linen-cotton knit short-sleeved button-down. It gives that cool-summer vibe when worn open and layered with a tank top. It can also be dressed up a bit when tucked in with a trouser. I will wear it more casually paired back to a higher-waisted short (also a trend for men this season), a suede slip-on loafer, and my favorite sunglasses.
TOP | PANT | SANDAL | BAG | SUNGLASSES | EARRINGS
Rising temperatures and longer days can only mean one thing: patio and rooftop season! Winter in Ohio seems so long that when summer arrives, I love being outside as much as possible. Whether I’m walking through the Short North, enjoying one of the many patios that Columbus offers, or simply sitting on my balcony, summer brings a certain kind of ease to my usual non-stop life. For me, dressing in the summer is pretty simple, too. I love a monochromatic, casual look that can take me anywhere. This linen pants paired with a one-shoulder top, a strappy sandal, and my sunnies, and I’m ready to go! *Don’t forget your sunscreen!
DRESS | SANDAL | BAG | SUNGLASSES
Summertime is all about hanging out with friends and hosting casual dinners. I love any occasion to set a table and plan a menu. Just ask my husband! Since we are often hosting, I like to keep my wardrobe super simple and go with an easy but elevated dress. We are definitely going to run out for ice cream after (Whit’s is my favorite), so I would add my favorite go-to slides and this fun little novelty bag that I am considering getting for the summer season. I can’t quit this blue!!
TOP | SHORT | SANDAL | BAG | SUNGLASSES | HAT
Whether on summer vacation or brunching on the patio at Emmett’s, sipping a chai, this Maje set tops my list for a chic go-to look. With flat slide sandals and a sun hat for coverage, it makes the perfect pair for a day of touristing. Swap to a heeled sandal and clutch to easily elevate the look for a summer date night.
