Retainer Styling Program

Did you know we offer a Retainer Program? Our Retainer Program guarantees time with your stylist each month. Our clients always love sharing this service, and we thought we should share more, too!

Each month, we have a 15-minute conversation with you to review your schedule and understand your wardrobe goals. This includes everyday life, special events, and/or travel.

We will work with you to maximize your time and current wardrobe. Our retainer program is fabulous for clients who see their stylists on a monthly basis. It guarantees the time you need and adds cost savings. Our average retainer client sees their stylist 5 hours per month and receives a savings of $1000+ per year!

Hear from a few of our retainer clients on how they have benefited from this program:

“I started working with Whitney during a period of transition. I was six months postpartum with my second child, and I also had an injury and two unexpected surgeries since having my son. Nothing fit in my closet, and I was looking for a way to give myself some confidence and do something special for myself. Working with Whitney was such a great confidence boost, and I finally felt good about the clothes I was wearing again.

I had been seeing Whitney for over a year before joining the Retainer Program. I will have three kids in under four years, so I need a lot of help with my changing body and needs. I found that I was reaching out to her often, so it made sense to do the retainer program and have her check in with me intermittently. I also found it really valuable for Whitney to help me with unexpected events that have come up. I was going to a funeral, and being postpartum, I didn’t have anything that was going to work for that. In a pinch, Whitney was able to help me out, and that was possible because I’m part of the retainer program. She anticipates my needs for each month and through each season. The outfitting has been so helpful! I love being able to look at the pictures she gives me and having the peace of mind of knowing every outfit will work. It’s also so helpful to have her pack for my trips. It makes life so much easier, especially having to pack for my kids.” – Kristy

“My first time working with Wardrobe Therapy was a few months ago. My schedule has become quite packed, involving many different events and outfitting needs. I felt like there was a really clean match between my needs and Wardrobe Therapy’s services. I had a great call with Elizabeth to learn more, and it seemed to be a perfect fit. The events I have change so frequently and are so across the board it made sense to discuss the Retainer Program option. My needs were not finite but rather consistently changing throughout the months, depending on what my schedule looked like. I decided to go the retainer route, which has provided so much ease and honestly just a really consistent, trusted source that helped me prepare. It has been such a time saver when preparing for events. I can really focus on actually being present at the event and not stress before trying to get all the pieces and parts of the outfit ready.

It has been such a great experience working with Britt. She is an absolute doll, so kind and very caring when listening to my needs, but she also provides a perspective and helps to make sure that all things are ready to go and that I look put together without all the stress that comes with that. It has been a really wonderful experience.” -Melissa

“Shopping for me is kind of like losing weight; I have tried everything under the sun. I tried subscription services, I had my friends buy me clothes. I tried buying only neutrals. I was just so overwhelmed. I didn’t know how to tie a whole outfit together or how to buy the right things for my body. Someone at my church suggested that I call Elizabeth! I was ready to invest in myself and feel great in the clothing I was wearing. I hate trying things on in store so Elizabeth bringing the clothing to my house was wonderful. I worked with Elizabeth for many years; once Elizabeth transitioned out of styling to focus on running Wardrobe Therapy, I started working with Whitney! Whitney had worked with both my daughters in the past, so this was a very natural fit.

Being a retainer client has been fabulous for me. Now that my children are older, I’m traveling often, so I utilize the packing service a lot. No matter where I go, I always pack in a carry-on bag, and Whitney always does an amazing job of packing me for any climate or activity I may be doing, and trust me, I challenge Whitney. Over this past summer, I spent a week hiking in the Alpes, then went straight to Croatia for a week of leisure. Whitney was able to pack me for these two very different trips in a carry-on! What’s even better is I felt great in everything I wore. I love the outfitting, too. I check my outfitting pictures daily.”Lynette

Hear from our stylists why they love servicing their retainer clients:

My retainer clients are always at the top of my mind because they are always on my calendar. More often than not, we are always searching for the perfect *fill in the blank*. We don’t get discouraged when things don’t work because we have the time to find the perfect version of the needed item. It feels more specialized. Having at least once a month together allows less money to be spent at one time and more thoughtful pieces to be brought. This allows for a more careful wardrobe curation. Instead of big seasonal deliveries, we do small monthly deliveries to bring in exactly what the client needs. You get to know a closet, too, so if a retainer client texts me and needs an outfit for something that comes up, I can create an outfit in my head quickly. Whitney
