Festive Fits: Our Holiday Looks

If you know us, you know we love any excuse to get dressed up, and the holidays are no exception! Our yearly traditions with friends and family mean the world to us, and we love sharing them with you. Continue to see what we are wearing for our holiday events this season.

We are hosting both our families at our home to celebrate Christmas! The attire is always casual, but I like to feel festive, comfortable, and chic! This season, I have been living in these barrel-leg cashmere pants that I found at Pivot Boutique in the Short North! I love dressing them up a bit but keeping everything very wearable!

One of the things I love most about the holidays is the opportunity to dress up a little extra festive. This year, I’m having a fun girls’ day with two of my girlfriends! Noon showing of the Nutcracker at BalletMet, followed by a late lunch at Chouette. It’s a daytime affair, so I’m opting for lots of novelty and fun textiles. And finishing off the look with bold gold earrings that I’ve been eyeing all fall…so dang good!

COAT | POLO | BELT | PANTS | SHOES | WATCH

We have two family Christmas parties that are relatively casual. Lots of food, games, and presents! I’ve been into the knit polo trend this season, and this one from Reiss is a good one! It’s versatile to wear casually with jeans as shown here, or you can dress it up by tucking it into a nice pant and pairing it back with a sports coat. Top off either look with a car coat and a nice watch to bring a little extra style as you arrive at the party!

In the hustle and bustle of Christmas, my husband and I always try to sneak away for a little holiday date. A lot of planning and logistics go into the Christmas season, so it’s fun to slow down for a day and enjoy each other sans kiddos. We’ll finish up our Christmas shopping at some of the local shops in Downtown Delaware. Then, drinks and dinner at a couple of our favorite local spots. Even in holiday dressing, I make sure to stay true to me—a little sparkle on this pair of black denim and a pop of red is just right! Happy Holidays!

IRIS

SWEATER | TEE | SHORTS | TIGHTS | BOOT | CUFF

I love our annual holiday team lunch! It’s so fun to have everyone together and exchange gifts. This year, our team will be lunching at Butcher and Rose; my mouth is watering thinking about it! This is my version of the mini short trend. I love the peak of the white tee under the sweater for added interest on the top. Paired with a chocolate brown tight, black boot and a silver cuff to finish off the look!

BRITT

SWEATER | SKIRT | BELT | TIGHTS | BOOTS | BAG | EARRINGS

This holiday season, I took my niece to see The Nutcracker for the first time, and I opted for a black + chocolate look that I have been gravitating toward lately (she totally stole the show with her matching dress, coat, and bag). I’m looking forward to repeating my look when my husband and I grab dinner in New York at one of our favorite cozy spots, as the sweater and skirt are slim and easy to slide into my carry-on.

CHRISTINE

COAT | SWEATSHIRT | PANTS | SHOES | EARRINGS

My kids and I are heading up to Niles the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with my parents/family (which was planned before we knew the Buckeyes were playing at home on Saturday), so we’ll spend our day cooking, playing games, and cheering on the Buckeyes -both basketball and football. That being said, my fit will be casual, comfy, and scarlet & gray….thank goodness athleisure wear is so on trend! Hoping Santa brings a Buckeye victory!
